ma famille

Today in British Columbia it was the first ever "Family Day" a new stat holiday. Neither David or I work "real" jobs thats are effected by holidays or weekends but still we decided to take fulllll advantage of Family day. We slept in (the latest I've slept in a long time) Then we watched some prison break in bed, walked to the coffee shop, then came back home and watched more prison break. I'm a little embarassed to say that it is now 10:26pm and we are still watching it. But it has been a good day.

I haven't posted in days. New years resolution fail. 

I've been busy getting back into doing a bit of hair, blogging over here, selling over here, and being a wife (except my house i really messy and I need to wash the beds) although tonight (don't want to toot my own horn) but i made a freaking awesome dinner! Salami & Truffle baked mac and cheese with chillies. yup. "I die"

yesterday I was out for a walk with sid and saw these amazing chairs from a distance, and quickly kept walking towards them and realized it was a set of 4, and they were wonderful! I walked as fast as I possibly could to my moms house to grab her SUV so i could load them up before anyone else spotted them. brought them home, scrubbed off the dried cheerios, and pulled out the dog hair. I am in love wih them. I even cut my sheepskin in half for them, that was a scary moment making the cut. They make my breakfast nook so much cozier! the other two, are at either end of my dining table. score.

Tonight david called and said "they're spraying me with a fire extinguisher for a video, I'll be late".... Sooo I'm spending th evening packaging orders for our site www.shopkalos.com, we just put up some new valentines product so I'm having fun wrapping it up all cute!

12:01, but I haven't gone to sleep yet. So I still count this as a photo-a-day okay!! Tonight I had a birthday dinner for my mama! It was nice, we had drinks, dinner, cupcakes, candy, caramel apples, and played cranium! My mom and sister kept telling me to take pictures of the birthday themed table setting but I did not.. sorry... So here is a left over cupcake instead haha. oh, and that lemon piece i just ate off the top, was definitely dripped birthday candle. mmm.
