November Walk

It has been too long since our last "walks" post - long before Poppy was even born. Walks are one of our favourite things to do as a family, especialy since we live in such a pretty area with a big park at the end of our road. Sometimes I wish that we lived in the city and could walk out out door and stroll through shops and cafes. But I really love this peaceful area, and big trees... I don't think I could trade it.

Last week the most adorbale handmade matching toques arrived from Lyndsay of The Seam Designs showed up at our door just in time for the freezing cold weather. Take a look at her etsy shop because she makes some adorable and cozy crocheted winter goodies.

foggy walk

Today was a really lazy day, david slept til 12 then layed on the couch watching 24, and I sat at the table working on treasures & travels. By 4pm we decided it was time to get some fresh air, so we took sid for a walk! Half the time sid is just trying to play tug-of-war with the leash. It was super cold and foggy outside today, but really pretty.

Meat Market

David and I took Sid for a walk through town the other day. He doesn't walk through town often (mostly through the woods) so his nose was going crazy! Especially when we walked past the meat shop, he did not want to leave that door...

This photo from our walk reminded me of a Regina Spektor Lyric from the song "Dance Anthem of the 80's". I always seem to listen to that album at this time of year, David and I started listening to this album the fall that we started dating so it always gives me that magical fall feeling of crisp air, colourful leaves, and our first few months of dating!
